Artwork Donated to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Gala Auction
Up for Auction: Dot Series Abstract Multicolor Art Print
I was very proud to donate my artwork to the 2019 Markham Stouffville Hospital Gala Auction at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites. Last night's event was fantastic and I was so happy to have my art sold for such a great community institution. The Dot Series 1 Abstract Multicolor Art Print that I donated to the hospital gala auction is 12" x 12". Part of my Abstract Art Print Collection, the artwork also comes in sizes 16" x 16", 20" x 20" and 24" x 24".
All Dot Series 1 Abstract Multicolor Art Prints are printed on acrylic and have a beautiful glossy surface. Shown above and below are images of the artwork on the auction table. Art to Support Markham Stouffville Hospital
Since moving back to the Toronto area in 2010, I've enjoyed supporting and attending Markham Stouffville Hospital events. Two years ago I donated an animal art print to the 2017 Markham Stouffville Hospital gala auction. The art print sold for far above the retail selling price!

The 2019 Markham Stouffville Hospital Gala
The theme for last night's gala was Mamma Mia Greece! Held at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites, there were around 1000 attendees and volunteers. Funds raised go the Orthopaedic Surgical Center at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Highlights of last night's event included flaming haloumi cheese stations, an ABBA cover band ABBA Revisited, a local Greek dance The Saint Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Dance Troupes. Eleven of the young dancers from the dance troupe were born at Markham Stouffville Hospital! Shown below is photo of them dancing.
Shown above is a photo of ABBA Revisited on stage at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites. Gala attendees enjoyed dancing to Mamma Mia and ABBA's greatest hits. The short rib main course was so delicious several friends at my table were literally licking their plates!
Doctors and patients from the hospital attended and spoke about the critical community care and services offered by the Orthopaedic Surgical Center at Markham Stouffville Hospital. I was so happy to see my artwork sold and proceeds to going to such a great cause. We can't wait for the next Markham Stouffville Hospital Gala!
